Objective
This mini-course provides an introduction to random discrete structures, with a primary focus on random graphs. We begin with the historical development and motivation behind the fundamental models, together with several classical properties and phenomena. The course will then explore a number of selected topics that currently attract significant attention in the field, highlighting their connections to related areas such as random processes and percolation theory, as well as their broader applications. Finally, several open problems and research directions will be discussed, with the aim of inspiring young researchers and students to further explore this fascinating area of modern mathematics.

The conference will have about 4 planery talks, 22 invited talks and 15 Young Scholars’ talks on the current problems and techniques of these subjects. In keeping with the tradition, ICCGNFRT-2026 will also host a handful of Ph.D. scholars and Post doctoral fellows and provide them with opportunities to present their research in front of experts.
Registration
Faculty members, Post-doctoral fellows, Ph. D. students and extraordinary master degree students are eligible to apply to this conference. The registration will only be through the online application below. The window for registration closes on August 14, 2026.
All the participants will be provided free accommodation and food. On the other hand, only a few participants may be provided appropriate travel allowance.
PhD Scholars and Post Doctoral fellows who wish to apply for the Young Scholar’s talks are requested to send their paper to iccgnfrt@gmail.com with the the email subject “Application for Young Scholar Talk 2026” by August 14, 2026. The body of the mail should contain the applicant’s credentials as well as a short abstract of the paper which the applicant wishes to present.
The applicant’s will receive an email during the confirmation window (August 17 -20, 2026) to confirm their participation. The final list of selected participants will appear on August 20, 2026.

Paper Submission
Participants intending to present a paper in Congress should upload a three-page extended abstract composed of an abstract, research aim, brief literature survey, problem formulation, solution methodology and significant conclusions as per the format available on the ISTAM website. Based on the reviewer’s recommendation, communication will be sent to the participants. Once the extended abstract is accepted for presentation, the participant is required to submit a brief abstract (limited to 200 words) or the full-length paper (maximum of twelve pages) as per the format on the ISTAM website, in case the participant wishes to publish it in the e-proceedings of the conference, which is subject to the peer review process.
